GREATER GRAND FORKS SOCCER CLUB (GGFSC)
GGFSC strives to promote the game of soccer and ensure that it is a fun and positive experience for all participants. GGFSC teaches fundamentals and encourages player development through a competitive team sport environment appropriate to the age and developmental stage of the player.
The club also aims to promote a sense of community pride of representation, good sportsmanship, physical fitness and opportunities for adults in the community to be role models and actively involved with youth.
Our summer competitive program is for soccer players who have a high commitment to the game of soccer. Players will play on set teams for tournaments and ND Soccer League (NDSL) games. There will be out-of-town tournaments. Registrations are being accepted now for our summer league teams (ages 8-18).

UPDATE FROM THE NORTH DAKOTA SOCCER LEAGUE (NDSL) DATED 4/9/2013
"Dakota United Soccer Club, Greater Grand Forks Soccer Club, Jamestown Soccer Club, and Minot Soccer Association return for a third season of League Soccer in ND. Further, we welcome back the West Fargo Soccer Club to NDSL for 2013. To date these five ND clubs have submitted 54 teams to play in NDSL's 2013 season.
I am also pleased to announce that we are adding a U9 age division to our League this season. This will give younger soccer players in ND another option to appreciate the sport.
The NDSL season will run mid-May through July. Games will be scheduled for both weeknights and weekends. Most weeknight boys games will be played on Tuesdays, and most weeknight girls games will be played on Thursdays.
Saturday Jamborees are scheduled for Bismarck June 8 (DUSC, Minot, West Fargo attending), and for Jamestown June 22 (Jamestown, DUSC, and Grand Forks attending). Jamborees are intended to allow games between teams that are too far apart to play on a weeknight. They will be scheduled to allow teams to travel to a town for two Saturday games and then return home without need for overnight stay and the expense that entails. Each Jamboree will bring together three clubs with the objective of getting two games/team. Some teams from other clubs may be invited to participate as needed to fill the schedule.
Each team in a division will be scheduled to play every other team in that division at least once during the regular season during which standings will be kept. These standings will determine seeding at the NDSL Championship Playoff in Grand Forks the weekend of July 27-28."
