General Information
The Greater Grand Forks Soccer Club invites teams to participate in its
annual Grand Cities Soccer Tournament in Grand
Forks, ND. A competitive, youth soccer tournament, appropriate for teams in
U10 - U19 age divisions will commence on Friday afternoon and conclude by
mid-afternoon on Sunday.
Required Documentation
- Current U S Youth Soccer player passes, approved organization player passes
or the appropriate National Association passes
*Roster with player names, jersey numbers and signatures of all players
- Copy of birth certificate for each player
- All teams must follow proper U S Youth Soccer travel procedures or, for
foreign teams, FIFA travel procedures. Foreign teams are required to
provide written proof of permission to travel from their National
Association and written proof of insurance coverage for their players
(sickness, accident, injury, etc).
Team Rosters
- U10: maximum 12 players 6 vs. 6
- U11-U12: maximum 14 players 8 vs. 8
- U13-U19: maximum 18 players 11 vs.11
Awards
- U10 players will receive participation medals.
- U11-U19 champions will be determined in each bracket. Trophies will be
awarded to the players on 1st and 2nd place teams.
- To maintain a reasonable tournament schedule, we reserve the right to
combine age divisions in tournament brackets and to limit the number of
teams.
Referees
Only nationally certified referees will be utilized, per U S Soccer rules.
Food, lodging and reasonable compensation are provided. If interested,
